Description
With its access to Prankster Encore, Liepard is capable of shutting down many boss Pokemon throughout the game which carry status moves, particularly of the boosting variety. The AI loves to boost up in the face of a full hp Focus Sash mon which they can already one shot, giving you ample time to lock and neutralize them. Some Pokemon this is effective against include Coil Zygarde, Swords Dance Zacian-C, Calm Mind Arceus, Geomancy Xerneas, and more. If you expect the opponent to switch once Encored into a status move, U-turn to maintain offensive momentum. Night Slash is your standard STAB move to chip down locked opponents. Foul Play is an alternative STAB for certain high attack targets like a Necrozma Dusk Mane, while Knock Off does less damage over time but doubles as removal for opponents healing items should they carry one. Sucker Punch helps to finish off weakened, faster pokemon. Toxic is another option to speed up the clock which Liepard thankfully retains access to on Hardcore. Fake Out has its usual utility of getting free chip damage and helping out in Doubles. Copycat can be used to even the field against an opponent setting up entry hazards. You can also run coverage or utility moves like Gunk Shot, Play Rough, Seed Bomb, etc as you see fit in the fourth move slot.(Dumass Kid Sweeper)
