This set specializes in switching in, taking advantage of the poison/dark typing and Intimidate, and paralyzing or knocking out the enemy. Not only that, you can also Shed Tail out on what's most likely going to be a setup move, and then get a free turn to set up yourself. Alternatively, you can glare the opponent first and then use Shed Tail, potentially baiting an attack that's resisted or nullified by the mon you're switching into, and crippling the enemy, leaving you even more open to do whatever you want. That's not all Arbok is good at either, of course. Due to its typing and access to great priority in Sucker Punch, it can take on things like Mega Gengar and Mega Alakazam on its own, and most physical attackers don't like fighting it either. The EVs for this set aren't set in stone either, and you can opt to max out the defense or attack, but after testing this in a playthrough I can safely say that it does the job.
