Description
Mega Aerodactyl has an incredible matchup against Safari Zone Brendan, at worst speed tying with his entire team and almost capable of dismantling it single-handedly. Dual Wingbeat one shots Deoxys and Mega Sceptile, and beats Gengar over the course of 1-2 turns. Fly is used exclusively against Urshifu-Rapid due to its better damage thresholds; 75% chance to one shot. Earthquake one shots Nihilego. When Tapu Koko comes in, which it likely will after Gengar, U-turn or hard switch to a Ground type that doesn’t get one shot by Grass Knot. Even if that mon doesn’t kill Koko in one hit with a ground move, it should do enough damage for Mega Aerodactyl’s Earthquake to finish the job. Alternatively, you can try to solo the fight with Aero by getting an Iron Head flinch on Koko followed by Earthquake.
