Nidoking makes for an incredible option against the first Giovanni fight. This set is designed to 1v1 every member of his team besides Mega Kangaskhan. Against Infernape, use a coverage move followed by Earth Power to get passed the sash without bringing Ape to Blaze range. Thunderbolt kills Gyarados, and Ice Beam kills Torterra. Against his own Nidoking, win the speed tie and kill with Earth Power. Flamethrower is a roll to one shot Orthworm. Wise Glasses give Nidoking enough of a damage boost across the board to get relatively consistent one shots on everything besides Orthworm. If you can beat Chuck by this time, Expert Belt almost guarantees Flamethrower will do enough.
