Description
Orthworm’s unique attributes make it a terrific option against the Brock rematch. The Earth Eater ability makes it the only Pokemon in the game with an immunity to Thousand Arrows, letting Orthworm sit in on Zygarde indefinitely and PP stall it. Iron Head does good damage to Mega Aerodactyl, able to 3 shot it while it struggles to get past your Leftovers healing. Earthquake does a decent enough job at chipping down Iron Treads, though getting hit by its Knock Off is annoying. Dragon Tail is an option to reset Zygarde’s boosts after it runs out of attacks and Coils, as even Struggle is a move to fear at +6. Rest can be used to heal up in the event that Orthworm’s Leftovers are Knocked Off. Tackle does no damage, but it’s a move you can click 56 times (with a PP Max) while waiting for Zygarde to run itself out. Just keep Orthworm away from Terrakion and Empoleon, and it’ll serve you well.
